Kumar is part of the firm's General Corporate Advisory practice, advising clients on transaction structuring, documentation, and exchange control requirements, with a particular focus on labour and employment matters.
He has experience in advising clients on internal investigations and domestic inquiries, non-amicable separations, and senior-level exits, and advises on conciliation proceedings before labour authorities and negotiations with trade unions.
He advises on structuring senior-level employment agreements, separation documents, and employee handbooks, the deployment of workforce through third-party arrangements, and the structuring of employee benefit schemes, including ESOPs. He is also actively involved in advising clients on the transition to, and compliance with, the New Labour Codes.
He has advised various listed companies on compliance requirements with SEBI LODR; fintech companies on co-branding activities, circulars/notifications of the RBI.
