Charanya is an Executive Partner in Commercial and Regulatory disputes practice at LKS. She is also admitted as an Advocate on Record by the Supreme Court of India.
In her career spanning over 18 years, Charanya has handled high stakes and controversial disputes in areas relating to tax, trade, regulatory laws and commercial disputes.
She regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and various Tribunals.
Charanya’s clients include leading automotive, FMCG, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, e-commerce, logistics, textiles, energy, oil & gas companies and MSMEs in different sectors.
She assists clients in strategizing contentious litigation across different forums, jurisdictions and regulators. She works on a broad range of subjects, which include tax, trade laws, customs, export control, anti-trust, environmental law and data privacy.
Charanya has been recognized as Next Generation Partner-Tax by Legal 500 in 2026; Rising Star (Tax) by Asia Law in 2025, 2024; Notable Practitioner by ITR World Tax in 2026; and Distinguished Legal Advisor of the year 2024-25 by Asia Pacific Business. She is also a professional Indian classical vocalist and performs at select events across India.
