V. Sridharan is the co-founder of Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. He has retired from the firm as he has been designated a Senior Advocate by the High Court of Bombay, and runs his own practice.
His areas of practice include indirect taxes such as Customs, Excise and Service Tax, Sales Tax and Value added Tax (VAT), International Trade laws, Intellectual Property laws and Corporate laws.
Sridharan is a Senior Advocate, Bombay High Court and has successfully litigated on tax matters for nearly two decades at various judicial and quasi-judicial fora like the Customs Tribunal, High Courts and Supreme Court. Many of the cases argued by him are landmark legal cases.
Sridharan's vast experience coupled with his knowledge in accountancy, economics and tax laws is immensely appreciated by the Bar and the Bench. He is considered as an authority on Customs Valuation.
He regularly delivers lectures on indirect tax laws at various institutions.
