Ratan’s practice includes a mixture of litigation in the areas of Customs, Excise and Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) before the Tribunals and quasi-judicial authorities and advisory in the areas of Customs and FTP. Ratan has been advising several companies on a variety of issues having valuation, FTP implications under various export promotion schemes such as Advance Authorisations, EPCG, Duty Drawback, MEIS- SEIS, RoDTEP, EOU, SEZ, etc. He has been serving leading corporate houses across a range of industries including several technology and services companies.
