Nitum Jain has over 9 years of experience in the Tax practice and had joined the firm in 2016.
As part of the Supreme Court litigation practice, she regularly appears in taxation matters, primarily indirect tax, representing for a wide range of clients across diverse sectors, from multinationals to public sector undertakings.
She has also advised clients on various issues indirect taxes and foreign trade policy related issues, through substantive advisory, tax compliance reviews and health checks. Her client portfolio spans across diverse sectors, ranging from oil and gas, petrochemicals, FMCG, auto components, etc., with a specialization in e-commerce and digital supplies. She also has significant experience with respect to cross-border transactions and has closely worked with foreign companies and foreign law firms on various complex assignments.
Additionally, Nitum has handled audit and investigation support assignments and has authored various articles in her practise area which have been regularly published in eminent forums.
