
She has extensively assisted clients in tax disputes and represented them before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Her practice includes advising on dispute strategy, assisting in investigations and adjudication proceedings, and representing clients in appellate and litigation proceedings.
Kruti has experience in matters under the GST law and the erstwhile indirect tax regime, including Central Excise and Service Tax. Her core area of specialization is Customs and allied laws. She regularly advises and represents clients on customs classification, valuation, exemptions, import-export regulations, trade compliance, foreign trade policy, export promotion schemes and allied regulatory proceedings. She works closely with clients across a wide range of sectors, including Aviation, Automotive, FMCG, Consumer Electronics, and Information Technology. She brings a practical perspective to contentious tax proceedings and the commercial issues arising in cross-border trade and indirect tax matters.
Kruti earned her B.A. LL.B. degree from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, and subsequently completed her LL.M. from the University of Cambridge, where she focused on business laws and trade law.
