Amar has vast experience of practicing in various forums including Supreme Court, High Courts, State Sales Tax Tribunals and CESTAT and has been successfully handling indirect tax litigation. Possessing the perfect blend of qualities of a litigating lawyer and a consultant, Amar at present also spearheads the GST advisory practice in the Chandigarh office of LKS. He has successfully transitioned numerous clients to the new GST regime and is actively involved in advising clients and devising strategies for peculiar issues faced by them. He also delivers lectures organized by various industry chambers and institutes.
