MOOWR stands for Manufacturing and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations, 2019. It is a scheme introduced by the government to allow import of raw materials and capital goods without paying duty for manufacturing and other operations in a private bonded warehouse. Discussion will focus on the advantages of these schemes over SEZ and EOU schemes.
