Decoding the Data Protection Act, 2023

DATA PROTECTION ACT 2023

With  increase in personal data being collected and processed in digital form, the Act seeks to regulate collection, processing, and use of the data. A good understanding of the Act is the requirement of the day as it imposes duties on the organisations which hold and process data. The Act also has penal provisions in terms of fines and penalties.
