Sameer Avasarala advises clients on technology, media and telecommunications law (TMT) with a focus on data protection and data privacy.
He has written many articles on issues pertaining to information technology and data protection in India and has advised clients on issues pertaining to data protection and data privacy, both under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other sectoral regulations on the same.
He also advises clients on issues pertaining to technology and regulatory issues, including Fintech law and regulation (in relation to regulatory framework applicable to banks, payment aggregators, NBFCs, fintech platforms).
