Harshdeep Khurana is an Associate Director at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, New Delhi, and has been associated with the Firm since February 2018.
He has been part of the Customs and GST practices of the Firm and is currently part of the Firm’s All India Investigation Team (AIIT), a pan-India vertical that supports clients during investigations and enforcement actions.
Harshdeep assists clients across a wide range of sectors, including e-commerce, Telecom and IT, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, automotive OEMs and component manufacturers, and the pharmaceutical industries. His experience in AIIT includes providing end-to-end assistance during investigations by agencies such as DRI, SIIB/Customs Preventive, DGGI and other allied authorities. He supports clients through searches, summons and statements; helps executives understand their rights and responsibilities during investigations; drafts and vets responses to investigative queries and communications; and develops practical legal strategies to address risk and ensure compliance. He also has experience in litigation and supports clients in contesting adjudicatory actions, including assisting with strategy, pleadings and representation before appropriate forums.
