Darshan Chandrakant Machchhar

He has worked with companies in diverse sectors, including manufacturing (pharma, FMCG, defense, etc.), Direct to Consumer (D2C) businesses, new age services sector companies. He is actively engaged in planning tax compliant structures, credit optimization, bid advisory, tax due diligence during mergers and acquisitions. 

He regularly provides hand-holding support to clients during investigations conducted by Investigation Agencies such as DGGI, anti-evasion, Enforcement Directorate.

He has also handled GST implementation, anti-profiteering matters before NAA as well as High Courts, and has experience in international trade matters. Before introduction of GST, he worked extensively in other branches of indirect taxation, such as central excise and service tax, on various issues relating to classification of products, valuation of supplies.
