Aruna Verma has been with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan since 2011 and is experienced in patent drafting, prosecution, and portfolio management across a diverse range of technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computer-Related Inventions (CRIs), electronics, telecommunications, physics-based technologies, biomedical devices, and renewable energy systems.

She regularly handles end-to-end patent prosecution before the Indian Patent Office and has experience representing applicants during patent hearings.

Her practice encompasses patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, claim chart preparation, infringement and validity studies. She has advised clients on protecting and commercializing innovations across multidisciplinary technology domains.

In addition to Indian patent practice, Aruna is well-versed in the prosecution of foreign patent applications and has substantial experience coordinating with international associates.

She has hands-on experience in leading patent projects, advising clients on intellectual property strategy, and overseeing the drafting, filing, and prosecution of patent applications across multiple jurisdictions.
